My Life As Of May 8th

I got pregnant at the age of 17 and like everyone thinks 'I didnt think it would happen to me' how ignorant was I.? I guess I just didnt think about the consequences that could happen with not using protection and I shouldve. Getting pregnant right before my senior year of high school really put me through a lot because before I got pregnant I was gonna have fun my senior year go to all the parties and actually enjoy my senior year but instead I was pregnant. I wanted to be on the poms team even though I was on it for 4 months of my pregnancy I wish i couldve been on it the whole year. I loved the poms team and I loved dancing, but now every changed because I was expecting in May. My first semester I stayed at my high school because I wanted to enjoy at least some of my senior year. The second semeter I enrolled in an Alternative Charter School that provided classes for teen moms and I could finish my credits in another class. The challenge was sitting at a computer for 3 hours everyday with a big belly, let me tell you it wasnt fun at all. In the end I finished the credits I needed in 2 months (so I finished early). The last months of my pregnacy I got to spent at home since I finished school. My Baby Boy was born on May 8th 2011 at 11:50 pm just in time for Mother's Day. He was a big boy weighing at 7 lbs. 14 oz. and he was 20 1/4 in. long. Me and his father named him Anthony (Anthony Jose Gutierrez) I love him with all of my heart.!
